What types of files can I open or import into Chaos Envision?

Modified on Wed, 12 Aug at 11:28 AM

Chaos Envision supports .vrscene files as a primary format, alongside common 3D formats such as .obj, .fbx, and .dae.

If you do not use any of the above-mentioned Chaos products, you can still .vrsceneexport files from supported 3D modeling programs using the free Chaos Bridge compatibility plug-in. Chaos Bridge offers a standalone .vrsceneexporter for SketchUp and Rhino, allowing users to prepare compatible files for Chaos Envision without the need for V-Ray or another Chaos rendering product.
